all of a sudden...! ok, maisy turns 1 yr old next month and i've had her since july. she has tonssss of toys that she always plays with and recently i havent bought any new ones because she already has so many! i've never had to throw away a toy because she chewed it up until this week. this past week i threw away FOUR toys! i really have no clue why! is she becoming a stronger chewer? is she going through teething AGAIN? are her toys too old? i really dont know whats up with her..did anyone else have this problem with their yorkie and did it occur at about 1 yr old? thanks!!

Hmm, we've thrown away old toys before, I think usually they just get old, or Yoda tears through a lining and the insides come out. We didn't really notice any particular time period, Yoda was probably worse when he was teething. He's been fine now. We have found that some of the cheaper toys (like 99 cent specials) are easily destroyable by Yoda...

little chewers I think as they get older they can play alot rougher with their toys then when they were puppies. I noticed my puppy like to sit on the floor with her toy and chew and nibble and she even throws it herself and goes after it, but when she gets older I can see the little toys just getting torn apart because her teeth will stronger and she will be more aggressive with her little toys and I mean if the toys are older then it's just bound to happen.
