| Poor Maggie Mae Our little girl just had her third set of shots and when we got home she was rough and tumbly as usual. Just a few minutes ago when I went to pick her up she yelped. She's laying around and just not herself. Could this be the shot? Does anyone know of anything I can do besides hug and kiss her all afternoon. My poor baby seems like she's in pain. thank you so much shammy & maggie |

| aww she is probably just feeling yucky from her shots<3 did you possibly pick her up where she got her shot accidently- the spot may have been sore? im sure she will be fine, she just not feeling her usual self. rubs and kisses should do the trick. if she is crying as though she is hurt though, i would just call her vet and see what he has to say, but dont worry yourself too much<3 keep us updated with how shes feeling!!

| same problem Nina had the same problem. She was fine with the shots, but a couple hours after resting i lifted her up and she reallly cried. I picked her up carefully the rest of the day. After that she was fine. Patty and Nina |

| Dezi was the same way when she got her shots last week. She would cry when I would pick her up. Next day, she was back to normal. Hope your baby feels better. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Same with Cali and it was her 3rd set of shots. I told the vet at the nexr visit and they now give her a liquid pain medication with each shot.

| Hello from newcomer Mimmie from Alabama Hi, I am excited to be part of the Yorkie Community. I got my Yorkie, "Teakie Chew" 6 weeks old, Dec. 23 for Christmas. I adore him and I am eager to learn about this breed. Never had one before. My last dog was part pit part St. Barnard and he lived to be 18 years old and was the love of my life. He has been gone almost 3 years and I thought I would never own another dog. |

| Try this: get a wet wash cloth, wring it out and put it in the micro wave. Get it real warm but not too hot for your baby. Hold it on the injection site until it becomes cool again. Repeat this several times. It really takes the soreness out. Your baby may not like it at first but it will relieve the pain. Hopes this helps, by tomorrow your baby will feel much better. Judy |
