| ![]() Have never tried Pippa with cottage cheese. Is there a reason to give dogs this? Or is this just another type of treat?

| ![]() Dennis has it 3 times a day, though I hope to wean him off it. He loves it and I only give him a very small teaspoon with every meal but I would prefer that he eat more dry food. I plan on discussing this with the Vet at our next appointment, as I am not real sure it is healthy for him to eat so much of it. |

| ![]() I mentioned on an earlier post that I gave my pup cottage cheese - as my vet recommended - but should also have mentioned that he seems to have lost his taste for it. He certainly doesn't love it like he did when he was a pup. My other dog likes cottage occasionally. I would never buy cottage cheese for my dogs - but if I have it (which is rare), I'll see if they want a little. They certainly can never eat too much of it because we rarely have it. Carol Jean |

| ![]() Several years ago a stray Border Collie had 8 puppies in the barn at the bottom of my grandparents orchard. I took the runt, which was about 1/3 the size of the others. The vet said to feed him cottage cheese and scrambled eggs because they were high in protein and easy for him to digest. |
