| ![]() I think they are trying to do away with doing ears in pits and other breeds too aren't they? I always thought it was the norm but when I had my pit and took her to get her ears done the vet that worked there at the time treated me like crap. I had no idea it was taboo in his mind. But I have to say I love that look on pits but I also love them without their ears done too.. I know way off from a yorkies lil tail..lol

| ![]() TeeJay's little stub looks so natural. I know that sounds weird but it's because it's pointy at the end. That's why I couldnt come to terms with the fact that yorkies were born with long tails! |

| ![]() No... My lucy and Tank are docked but I feel it's jsut the same as the cropping of ears. I chose not to do the cropping to my GreatDane and my Schnauzer.... I have to admit that I love docked tails and cropped ears but I also love long tails and floppy ears.... There are a couple people with Yorkies with long tails on here... I'm sure they'll post pics. for some of you to see Crystal

YT Addict | ![]() We have a little Yorkie girl angel living across the street from us that is undocked, looks odd at first because as most here have said they have never seen one,That being said it looks like a little flag waving in the air when she comes running across the street for a love and a hug.

| ![]() OK well I think who ever started docking tails should have their tails docked. Yes it is standard, but who in the heck started that anyway. I have seen very cute Yorkies with tails, the only reason it looks funny is because we are not used to seeing it. If I had my choice, Princess would have her tail, I just can't stand the thought of her being in pain. If I was a Breeder, I would have them docked, but only because it's standard. But I'm not a Breeder so I will say no. ![]()

| ![]() When I was purchasing my puppy I hesitated because his tail was docked. I grew up in UK and my family always had Yorkies with tails. If I had a choice I would have said leave his tail. |

| ![]() I was for docking until I found out the new puppy I'm getting on Monday was not docked. I started researching it and found pictures that helped me decide. You can decide for yourselves. |

| ![]() They look adorable with tails. I think the only reason it looks odd at all is we are not used to seeing it. When I was little, my family had schnauzers, and their tails were docked and ears cropped. When I first started seeing floppy eared schnauzers I thought they looked odd...but it's just what your used to. I would definately get a puppy with an undocked tail! (why not, I have a 12.4 lb floppy-eared, light silver yorkie...lol)
