leavin him alone... Well were leavin to go to Virginia today for my bf's ring dance and Bentley is staying home. Were having the same pet sitter come that used to watch my previous yorkie. She is really good and leaves alittle diary of what they do when your away. I feel really bad though for leavin him, I guess cause he is just a puppy (5 months) and we really havnt left him home alone more then 5-6 hours so far. I know he will be in good hands but I still feel bad!

I know how you feel. I just came back from my 3-day vacation away in which I had to leave Frankie with my husband's brother. We talked about Frankie constantly! You sound like you have a great babysitter! How did you find them, and if you don't mind me asking, how much do they charge? I'm going away in October, and was looking at other options for a dogsitter other than my husband's brother.

Well I actually dont remember how we found her, but I believe it was from our groomer and she has her own buisness called Hooves and Paws. She is a older lady but very nice and she sends a newsletter out every month or so to all her clients just to share some fun facts and stuff. Well we left this afternoon and she is coming tonight, twice Friday (morning and night),twice saturday and twice sunday and she charged $105. I dont know if thats considered high or not. But we figure this will prob. be one of the only times we use her cause we have a place down the ocean so we wil bring him there with us. SO Im sure he is in good hands I just feel so bad and hope he doesnt get a mean or mad streak in him and destroy anything while were gone! I'll be so happy to see him on sunday!! I would suggest looking in the phone book because this lady was also listed in there or ask your groomer if they know of anyone. Goodluck!!

I had to leave my 3 furbabies last month when my grandma passed away. I found my sitter through my Vet. I had never left Maddie or Rudy with him, but had used him with my last yorkie and Lucky. I liked him because he uses my vet and Doc knew if anything happen while I was gone, to do what ever it took to save them. Have fun on your trip...........cindy
