| I'm back! Hi everyone! I got back from Mexico Wednesday night. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful. What time we weren't on the beach, we were shopping for Mexican marble to remodel the bathrooms. It is quite inexpensive down there for marble compared to the US. Lexy and Peanut were very excited when we got home! I missed them so much! Of course I missed my big girl Cinder too! She is really failing on her back leg. She has had 4 knee surgeries and is 12 years old. I won't put her through another one, but I can't imagine life without her. Luckily we aren't to that point where we have to make a "decision." I pray she will improve once the cold, damp weather is over. Anyway....good to be back (that's a lie ). I missed Yorkietalk (that's the truth)!!!! Elizabeth |

| Cinder takes 1 1/2 Etogesic tablets a day. I think it is an anti-inflammatory. Do you think I should ask the vet about pain meds? I hate to see her limpiing. She was always so strong and vibrant and active. She is a big ol' love, unless you drive up in a UPS truck! Then she turns into Cujo! |

I would ask the vet about helping her with pain ...there are a few meds that can help her ...and ask about any side effects...I've also been told by MY vet that baby asprin is fine ...but again...check with your vet and see what he says.... | |

| I am keeping myself from being insanely jeleaus by reminding myself that it must seem twice as cold to you since you've been in the warm weather, so that should make you miserbale! Just kidding! So glad you had a good time. Poor Cinder. I know Hartz makes doggy aspirin, we use it for Rusty when his hip acts up. (He dislocated it when he was hit by a car a few years ago. Had to have 2 surgeries). Sending best wishes to Cinder. And tell Lexy that we have looked everywhere for a fuzzy ball and can't find one.

| Welcome back, How I wish it was summer again. Poor Cinder hopefully the warmer weather will help her. THat's too funny about the UPS man. Mac and Mellie dislike the landscapers. I think they feel they are invading their TURF!!

| Welcome back!!!! Sounds like you had a great time!!! I'm sure the vet can give you something for Cinder. A few years ago they gave us something for our Rottie. It really helped her out. Hugs to Cinder Lexy and Peanut too!!!
