| Dry Hair No Mats Gizmo is 5 months old, his hair is so dry feeling, but he does not get mats. I comb him every day. His hair also looks like it has not been combed in a month 10 minutes after combing. Should I cut the puppy hair off and let it grow back out, or just give it time? It is so raggy looking.

| Chloe's hair was like that and I just had to keep cutting the dead ends off.

| My pup's puppy hair was the worst stuff in the world (not quite like yours - it was very oily) -- Anyway - I cut this stuff off as soon as possible and now he has a wonderful silky coat that is not oily and combs easily and never tangles. My advice is "get rid of the baby hair as soon as possible." Good luck! Carol Jean |
