| Hair Growth Challenged??? My little Titus is a yorkie/maltese cross, so it seems weird to me that at 4 and a half months he seems not to be ablt to really grow his hair! He has a bit, just enough to look really raggedy. he's still super cute, but looks kinda unkept. What do you all think? Coming from two long coat breed i would have thought he would grow tons of hair. Am i just worried too early? How long should it take to grow his hair? I don't want to trim the hair so he dosn't look unkept in case this is just a beginning hair growht phase... but it's been awhile and i don't get it. |

| Titus sure is a little cutie! I think his hair will grow...he's only 4 months and that's still pretty young. I know some yorkies take a while to grow their hair. Like you said, his breeds are both long haired, so just hang in there and see what happens!

| I think we have to get rid of baby hair eventually - so why not get rid of it as soon as possible -- and let their real hair grow out. Their new hair is usually nicer and thicker anyway!! Good luck! Carol Jean |
