How how how......... Chloe stayed with her Mom until 13 wks. Which I believe made her fierce, independant, smart above other things. She trains well, I have been thru the doggie classes, I know kind of what I am doing altho, I am seeing that dogs are like kids, each one responding a little different. With the training tho, the technique is the same, altho I realize she'll resond to different things, different treats and so on. I have tried so hard to try and stop her from doing her "toaster thing" in my nostrils and failed. Of course I know when I laugh I might be giving her mixed messages, on the other hand I need to get serious about putting a stop to this. She is a working dog in the geriatric field. This is not a good thing. She'll get fired the first time she does a "toaster thing" at work. Luckily she only goes after my nostrils right now.
She trained so easy on certain things and come & no nose she just won't budge. (fetch I had to use go get it or she wouldn't resond either) |
