Matthias goes for the mouth every single time and I have no problem with it at all. I'll just turn my lips inwards (so he doesn't mess up my lipstick or lick off my chapstick when I'm wearing it) and give him kisses right back. :) Turn away? never! |

Yep! Toto loves lip kisses! She will kiss you on request .... "Puppy kiss?" and she will smack you right on the lips!! :) It's soooo sweet! What's really cute is, when she is pouting, she won't kiss you for nothing!! :p My friend has two that will give you a great big grin and then kiss you!! ;) |
both of my dogs, Bentley and ChaCha, are lip kissers. Bentley will wake me up every morning with "good morning kisses". |
My Illy also does this. She does it to everyone. I think maybe because sound comes from the mouth, maybe they think that's where you are. I'm not sure, but that is my best guess. |

Chloe is a lip kisser too and a nose and the nostrils! I say to her, ok enough is enough and she gets determined to do more. :p When she's in the mood, nothing stopping her. Inside the nostrils is too much for me, like someone who has a ticklish spot somewhere and although it doesn't hurt, you just can't stand it. I do believe though that CHloe thinks it's a game now when I want her to stop. And I think another Yorkie doing is, when their settled so contently on your lap, your both watching a movie, clear out of the blue, she pops up like out of a toaster and heads that tongue right into the nostrils. Then smiles.........Maybe she's aiming for the mouth and misses who knows. But she goes with such speed, she really startles me mostly. :eek: |
Mine go straight for your nose. They even end up getting their little tounges right up there (their so quick) and its sooooo gross. It's like they have perfect aim at your nostrils :rolleyes: |

I have trained Noah not to lick me in the face. I'm sorry, but I do not like to idea of his little mouth near mine since he is occasionally known as the "tird burgler" around the house. It's amazing, I can train him not to lick me in the face (which is obviously 2nd nature for these adorable little guys) but the whole not pottying in the house is sometimes a mystery to him. ;) |
