| Gracie's bad day... Poor baby... I felt so bad for her yesterday! My daughter has been real sick so of course I can't spend as much time with her because the baby is taking up so much of my time. Yesterday my mom's BF came over and I had to put Gracie in the dining room (he is scared of dogs, even little ones!). So while he was here she could not run around the house. My dad also came over yesterday and Gracie is really attached to him, he completely ignored her. She cried for the longest time after he left. I felt so bad for her. After everyone left I asked my mom if she could watch Mia so I could spend some time with Gracie and take her for a special treat at Petsmart. She said sure, so I packed up Gracie and we headed out. When we got to Petsmart it had just closed! I mean JUST closed, it was 6:01, one freakin minute! Poor baby, I had to turn around and drive back home with out that "special treat" that I had built up to her the entire drive there! We did take our time getting back home and stopped and played at the playground in front of the subdivision, but I could still see that she was upset. For the rest of the night she sulked in the corner of the living room, in her bed. I tried going over to her, but she would turn her head away. She was so sad! I gave her a treat and she did not want it from me. I left it on the floor and she waited untill she thought I was not looking and got up real quick and brought it back to the bed with her. My poor baby!!! She is better today but I felt like such a bad momma!!! On top of it all, I can't go back to PetSmart untill Tuesday. Mia is too sick to take out and my mom won't be home till late tonight! I'm gonna have to triple spoil her when I go!!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Aww......Hugs to Gracie....poor deprived little girl....and Shame on Petsmart for Closing on you ! Didn't they KNOW she really needed that treat ? That is SO Funny she snuck her treat anyway and checked to see if you were looking....what a poor little drama queen but I know they really can sulk and feel emotions...no one can tell me they don't.... Did you tell your dad he hurt her little feelings ? I hope your daughter gets to feeling better and you're such a good mom...poor Gracie..... |

| I am sorry to hear that Gracie's feelings are hurt, but I am sure after tomorrow and her trip to PetSmart it will all be a distant memory. Georgie is my first Yorkie(and I am already wanting another one and I am amazed at how childlike they are. We have a boxer and she wouldn't even pay attention to things like that. She will be fine in no time....you sound like a great Mom and Gracie knows that I hope your daughter feels better |
