| haircuts Hello, I am new to the board and my Stevie will go to the groomer for the first time on Monday. He needs to be trimmed in his face badly but I was thinking of a shorter cut. Does anyone have any pictures of different yorkie cuts. Thanks in advance. I am so glad I found this board. I don't know anyone else with a yorkie so it's good to have a resource to come to with any questions. Anekka |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I hope you post pictures of your Stevie, we'd love to see him. Schatzie recently received a shorter cut. So easy to manage. Hope this gives you an idea. Her length is about 2 inches all over.

| This is Oscar in his shorter cut...his body is cut about an inch all over and longer on the legs. The picture of him shaggy was the night before he went to the groomer. The second one was after he got home...so much better! And he loves it...no pesky comb or brush...just not necessary anymore! Good luck at the groomer! Post pics when you get back home!

| What average age do they go to the groomer, I don't know when the hair is too much in the face area.
