| K9 Advantix? I give Pita Revolution for the heartworm preventative and it's sposed to deal with fleas too but it doesn't work for Pita. We live on a farm in Florida and there's no way to treat all of the ground she covers and kill the fleas so she invariably picks them up Has anyone had experience with the K9 advantix? It's sposed to repel fleas and ticks and mosquitos too. Revolution only kills fleas AFTER they have bitten her. So i was thinkin of tryin it but I've read a couple of testimonies online where dogs have had bad reactions to it. Does anyone here have any experience with it? I know Bio Spot and Hartz products are poison so I would never try those. Thanks for your help Jennifer |

| I use advantage and so far it has worked for me. It's a little costly though since I have 2 dogs.

| Boy! I didn't know Bio Spot and hartz were poison!! How do they get away with selling these products that are so dangerous? People who don't know any better are hurting their babies. I don't use either of those, but you assume when you see it in the big pet stores that its safe. Thanks for the valuable info. |

| Most medicines will work the same, in my opinion...i just had a problem where i found 2 fleas on Mojo and he is on frontline...i am now treating the inside of the house (used foggers and carpet powder) and a spray for the grass. It is really really important to treat not only the dog, but specially the enviroment, for every flea you will see on a dog, there will be at least 10 more on the enviroment. |

| Kindness, why won't your vet recommend the K9? Is it dangerous? |

| Just to let you know the reason some people think Hatz and Biospot are posion is because it contains 45% Permethrin which K-9 does too. I have looked on sites like dr foster and smith and they haven't said anything bad about that ingredient just that Frontline uses Fipronil which is a relatively new sythetic.

| EEK! So I probably shouldn't use it... I already ordered it. s**ts. Do you think if I spot test it, and she doesn't react it would be ok? |
