I was born and bred in Sheffield, Alabama! My father was the president of the ATO fraternity at Auburn, back in the day!

i am between montgomery and auburn ... but i still say ROLL TIDE!

is anybody else getting this horrific wind? i am praying for a tornado free night.

They predict some strong storms for today.

well, here's hoping this nasty stuff just blows on through and leaves us alone! i hate tornado season with a passion.

Hi, I live in Pleasant Grove, Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham. I have two yorkie girls and one sheltie girl.
My yorkie girls are Chloe - 3 years, 5 pounds, and Abby - 4 years, 3 1/2 pounds. Emily is my sheltie. She is 8 years old and 11 pounds. This is my first time posting. Linda

We live in Madison, AL and we got our yorkie outside of Decatur.

Ugh! I'm right there with you! Actually, we lost power last night at 7:00 and it didn't come back on until 10:30...talk about bored. I finally put my child in the bed and went to sleep at 8:30.

We let my uncle have our generator right after hurricane Katrina, he lives in La, so not sure what I would do w/o power!!! During that time I had a fan and my computer with internet! I understand I was one of the lucky few but it sure helped the time go by.
