Not the best 2 1/2 weeks.... I've ever spent. LOL Our poor maggie mae has been to the vet twice in just over 2 weeks to be treated for worms. Forget trying to train her when she has constant diarrhea. This the vet said won't go away until the worms are cleared. And now this morning I think she has ear mites. Anyone have experience with this? She was scratching her ear a lot and when I looked I took a bit out on a Qtip...which looked to be black and a bit bloody. Off to the vet, yet again. Does it ever get better? shammy and maggie waiting for better days.

Poor Maggie Mae and poor you! I havent ever had a problem with worms but ......... EAR MITES, EAR MITES, EAR MITES!.......I hate earmites........did I mention I hate them?...........LOL Sounds like she has them and has acquired a pesty ear infection along with the nasty lil bugs. (guessing) Ive had a real problem with reoccuring ear mites. They rarely ever get to the ear infection point but they just keep coming back!!!! Im missing something in the enviroment, or Im just not treating aggressively enough by not treating long enough or not following up soon enough with the meds. IT WILL GET BETTER for you and Maggie Mae soon! You wont have the same problem I imagine as I have because I have more dogs Im sure then you and they wont keep infecting each other. GOOD LUCK and wishing you happier days!!!!

Oh thanks for giving me some hope. I thought I had "sleepless nights" when I had babies...LOL I just made an appointment for the vet to see maggie mae in the morning. At the beginning of this week I received a 'welcome to our animal hospital' card and with it was a free coupon for a nail trimming. So that's the positive side..she can really use this right now. Thanks again, from shammy & maggie
