Once again...people don't read entire posts! Am I surprised? NOPE! Did I say I could be wrong? Yes. Please don't respond to me in the future without reading my entire post. I try to take everyone's info into consideration, and don't appreciate being "scolded" by YT people. I am not your child nor your dog. That's what's wrong with the computer...people can't just read and post opinions without getting on other people's cases. Well I'll tell you what...I have sat back and watched it happen to myself and YT friends. And, I'm not going to shut up anymore. If you don't like me and my opinions, that's fine. Don't respond to them. Easy as that. Some people have nothing better to do than to sit around on the computer and bash other people. Get over yourself. You are not perfect, and neither am I.

i don't know if you got to read my response, but i wonder, seeing you with your yorkie, doesn't it imply to the other individual that dogs are allowed? and most dog owners i know, whether they be big dogs or small, would much rather have their dog with them while they casually shopped rather than stuck in a car why they shopped hurriedly. the other person may not have known that you were sneaking your yorkie into the store.

and just for the record, if you jumped off a bridge, i wouldn't followed. but if you were in line for free ice cream, i'd be right there in line as well. :p

mine is more of a comment to add more than my opinion
i am cautious with my little one as to where i take her when we leave the house... i would be less apt to take her to stores etc only in concern for her safety and the "what if" - for example we were in petsmart yesterday and there was woman with a wolf as the store personnal pointed out to me
i named her snickers because it was cute not becuase i wanted her to be a snack.. but because pets are allowed that means all pets are allowed... so i took that chance in bringing her... but its my preference to not take her places not a requirement i just know that if they let her in it opens the door for all kinds of pets that i may or may not want her around (much larger aggressive dogs/sick pets etc)

Well since I am the woman that "got all bent out of shape over the service dog with disabled persons" I thought I should respond. Until you have the honor of caring for or raising a child or adult with a disability don't tell me or anyone else for that matter to not get all defensive. That is my job as a mother, to defend my child. MOST kids and many of adults are just plain mean when it comes to people with disabilities and it is my right and job as a parent/mother to educate the ignorant people out there regarding my daughter's disabilities. I was only stating in my post that not all people that need service dogs look disabled and not all dogs need a vest. Maybe something to think about the next time you go to the store and see someone with a dog that you are not sure about. JMHO.

I think everyone has a right to their own opinion..what bothers me is to hear (read) people talk so highly of their dogs yet they bash lil kids in a supermarket or drooling in a high chair. For the love of pete these are little children you are talking against. I'm sorry but I hope to never run across a little baby (dirty or not) and think thats disgusting..I am extremely particular about my kids and cleanliness as well as with my animals..but i've never ran across a pet or a child and been grossed out because that animal or child is filthy..it isn't their fault it's the parents and the owners. Have some compassion for human kind.
Also i'm not bashing any of you i'm sure you didn't mean it to sound like that .

Personally, bringing your dog into a store where I am is no biggie. I don't think it's right, but I also don't really care. I don't think that this topic is worth going to war over. We should have some sort of drinking fest when this is all over.

I think it is a lot like the other small little rule breaks that others have mentioned, like speeding or sneaking candy into a movie theatre. We have all done it, but the point of "we all break rules" does not justify at all the breaking of another rule. Maybe we'll get in trouble for it. Maybe we won't. But we can't argue about it on principle that we aren't doing anything that can hurt somebody else. I speed about 7 mph over the speed limit (sorta the gold standard), but if a cop stops me, I don't start arguing with him about how its late and there are no cars out and in this case it is okay. If I was caught by a movie theatre trying to sneak in candy and got kicked out, I'd probably be muttering about how I can't afford 10 dollar popcorn as I left, but I couldn't argue with them on principle about their right to make the rules. I don't have a right to speed, and I don't have a right to sneak things into someone's place of business, and I don't have a right to take my dog into places that they aren't allowed.

In a practical sense, chances are that you speeding or you sneaking your dog into stores will never ever hurt anyone or cause someone to be really uncomfortable. But if it ever does, or a store gets in trouble because of you, you have to be the one to say "yes, it was my fault," because you should accept the responsibility of your own actions.

Thank you for that and I am crying as I write this. Happy tears because you understand what I am trying to say (and hopefuly others do too) and sad tears that I had to make such a post. I don't want to get off topic here, I just wanted to say thank you!

You know what? I don't think you have to apologize. You didn't do anything wrong by posting your opinions. :) It's how people try to criticize others on here that's the problem. It wasn't your fault that I got upset/riled up/etc., it's how people respond to me that gets annoying. I'm sorry If I upset you! :notworthy Forgive me? :D
