Tasha had her babies Tasha had her babies. She had 4 boys but one didn't make it. I'm sad for the loss but happy that mama is doing fine. One of the boys has me a little worried. I'm going to be up all night thats for sure. She had to have a c-section the vet said one was positoned wrong blocking the others. He said if it wasn't for that she would of had them no problem. Bless her heart she is sooo sore and tired I hate that for her. I will have pics on here soon..i promise.

all boys She had all boys. The one is doing better now. I couldn't get him to nurse from her so i decided to leave them be for a while. I just went back in and he was nice and warm and got him to nurse. Now he's eating really good.

Rest..what is that lol I have to either stay up or get up every couple of hours. I need to make sure she gets plenty of water. I put a little bit of honey in it too. She is dehydrated from being put under and it is really important that I get her good and hydrated. So I will be up tonight. I couldn't sleep knowing that we aren't out of the woods yet. I will get plenty of rest tomorrow. My sister is coming over and she will watch blaine, tasha and the babies so I can get a nap.

I Love Thor Donating Member | I am glad that you are getting help! You need to rest up so you can prepare for the next...and live your 'other' life. Well have some coffee, and I hope everything stays stable through the night! |

update on tasha and her babies I tried to get pics of Jersey and Tasha on here but i don't think i did it right. Anyway just thought I'd let you know how they are doing. They all did fine through the night. Tasha ate really good this morning. She isn't too keen on anyone messing with them, she curls up around them when you try to touch her babies. Girls i'm 100% totally in love..these lil guys are soooooo cute. I can't wait til they get big enough to start cuddling with. Tasha is such a good mommy. She just took right to it. the other dogs are really want to see them but she doesn't let them near her at all much less close enough to see her babies. She warns them when they get close. Tyra my mini pin has mothered every stuffed animal in sight since last night lol..i think she wants babies... Now in 3 weeks and 3 days we will be doing this again..only difference is is Jersey will be having yorkies...tasha had yorkie-poos.. Now i've got 12 weeks to convince myself that they will need a new mommy and they will be fine going to a new home..*sigh* that will be the hard part..

I have a question I have a question. What is the average weight of a newborn puppy. I weighed them this morning and I'm not so sure my scales are reading right. If so these are some really tiny babies.
