| Dogs are all different. I stayed home the first week I got my 8-week old Yorkie, and then for a week or two - my neighbors visited him at least once a day. But after that, he had to stay home along for 6 hours four days a week. I don't think it has ever bothers him. I have listened outside the door after I go out and have never heard him cry. Also, more often than not when I get home, I can tell that he has been asleep....he's yawning when I come in. I do leave the radio on and a light on when I'm gone. What can we do!!! If I didn't have a job - I couldn't afford to have a Yorkie - or any pets for that matter. I'm sure my dog does just fine. Like all dogs - I know he sleeps a lot while I'm gone. What a wonderful life!!! I'd trade places with him in a jack minute! Carol Jean |
