| ![]() I have same issue wiv my yorkshire too ... we got her as a puppy around 8 months ago and in her life maybe she barked 5 times . she never cries , lets say i put her in a room so she sleeps she might come next to the door and cry for half a second and thats it . this is not our first york and all the other yorks we had used to bark even at themselves caz they are barking . she also is so scared of cars i cant really understand why , she starts shivering if i put her in a car , at first i used to think caz of the weather but now we are in June and its 30 degrees and she still does it . so its very hard for me to take her to another city . when i drive i see dogs in cars out of the window enjoying the wind and i wonder why my dog aint dog . maybe she think shes a cat ? ![]() |

| ![]() Dogs head out of window is a safety issue, all sort of debris can get in their eyes. I never allowed any of my dogs to have their head out of the car window.

| ![]() Piper was a quiet little girl for about the first 2 or 3 months after bringing her home---and then she 'found her voice' and it was on! I actually posted on YF for suggestions as to how to stop her demand barking (wonderful advice that worked quickly and well). Your handsome little Coco-bug will be making his opinions known before you know it!! Now, don't get me wrong...Piper is not a yappy girl, but tells me when she wants a treat, when someone is at the door (evidently she feels the doorbell alone won't alert me) and if she thinks too much attention is being paid to the next door Akitas (Really, Piper? Scolding Akitas? Such a Yorkie-thing!) |

| ![]() Bella did not bark until she was about 6 months old. Then we thought her barks were cute. That wore off quickly. Enjoy the silence while you can ![]() |
