| ![]() aww im so sorry shes not feeling well! i hope all goes well at the vet...Sirius has had bouts with vomitting that were just due to an upset tummy. im no expert, but seeing as im always seeing vomitting posts, i dont think its too out of the ordinary? the blood is a little scary, but try not to worry too much. make sure shes drinking water until your appointment<3<3 best of luck ![]() ![]()

I had a small yorkie male 2 years ago, has anything changed in ya'lls life, any extra stress??? When I went into labor with my daughter in 2003, my yorkie knew before me. I woke up in the morning and he was acting funny, kinda shacky, nervous and scared... we were out most of the day and I went into labor at my in laws that afternoon, my sister in law went over to care for him and he was still acting funny.. within an hour of her being there he got real lethargic and started puking blood and pooping blood everywhere. She called me at the hospital and told me she was rushing him to the vet. When I got him home he was better. They said that he got nervous from stress and his stomach linning began to bleed. Yorkies are very nervous dogs and stress or a change can cause ulcers and bleeding inside. We ended up having to find him a new home because he growled at our daughter and peed on her things toys, clothes ect...... I hope your little guy is okay hopefully it is just a stress issue and he will be okay in a few days. Let us know! | |

| ![]() I hope she is doing okay.... Once I had to take my friend's Shih Tzu to emergency room for throwing up blood too. She had HGE and stayed at hospital for 3 nights...

| ![]() This is a true emergency. HGE Acute Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis is often fatal. They vomit then vomit blood, poor appetite, then drop the blood sugars, have seizures etc and can easily die. I am not trying to scare you. I lost my three pound yorkie last year to the same thing. I will say a prayer that yours is less serious.

| ![]() Sorry guys, after the vet i took her home, i don't have a computer yet at my house, Haley is doing fine, the vet gave her a shot to calm her stomach down, she said the blood was from throwing up 4 times in a row, i had to change her food to nutro and no doggy treats for a while unless there all natural. I made her chicken and rice last night - she ate good and slept like a baby, the vet thinks she got into something that she wasn't supose to, but i don't think that was it... she said if she throws up again to rush her back for more testing, but she did very well last night and this morning she ate a little bit of soft Nutro lamb and rice and drank some water, i'm going home at lunch time to check up on her again... |
