| Second Nature Dog Litter Does anybody use Second Nature Dog Litter? Bentley uses the litter box but we just used regular cat litter. The only bad thing about the cat litter is every time he jumps in and out litter goes all over the floor, gets stuck in his paws and he leaves traces on the floor. I read about the Second Nature Do litter but I had a few questions about it. First, if it doesnt absorb the urine and clump then how do you remove it from the litter box? Do you just change all the litter after a couple days? Secondly, my dad is worried that if we switch the litter then he will be confused and start to have accidents again. If anyone uses the dog litter please let me know how it works! thanks! |

| We bought some of that litter to use on the boat when we went on weekend cruises. The pieces are large, and they rattle around in the pan--Edie was AFRAID of it. She never used it, not once. This was a drag because I had to row her to shore several times a day, which is not always pleasant. |

| Yikes. I heard cat litter is not good for Yorkies, because if they injest it, it's bad. I tried the SN dog litter, but Baby just ate it. So, we just try to pee on the pee pad. But that doesn't work either!

| Eleanor is just a baby, but she is learning to use the second nature litter in a litter box. The pellets just kinda absorb the urine so you do have to change the whole thing every couple of days. The poop you can just scopp out with one of those cat litter box scoops. As for eating it...lol She hasn't, but apparently everytime my mom changes it she jumps in the box and rolls around in the clean litter. My mom says it looks like she is trying to make snow angels and that she knocks most of the litter out of the box.
