| So when does it stop being a civil case and become a criminal case? Looks like to me it would be a cruelty to animals charge in the making by now at the very minimum.

| I have been following these threads from the very beginning-when you were looking for a home for your little guy. I also live in Oklahoma. Just outside of Tulsa. If there is anything I can do, just let me know. These crazy people drive me absolutely nuts. Keep your head up.

| Good job tracking down this much information!! I'll say a prayer that Brad Edwards will do a story (I'm the one that suggested you contact individual reporters - the funny thing is, we have a Brad Edwards here, too - but he's a meterologist for one of the local stations.) I'm not sure how you found out about this other lawsuit, but I bet if one has been filed against a horrible breeder like this, that it is very likely that others have also been filed. I know here folks can gain access to court lawsuits through the county or the state and its all online. You should see if there is something of this kind where the breeder resides. You may have to pay a fee to access all the records - but it may be worth it. Better yet, if the reporter will do the story, he may be able to easily gain access to these records. I know the paper I work for pays some type of flat fee to access the online records. Also, I don't mean to stick-up for a scum breeder, but some breeders do give the animals vaccinations themselves to cut down on vet bills. But, if your vet said the pup had never had vaccinations, I would trust him. Please keep us posted. We're rooting for you!! Yorkiesmiles |

| I love this! So proud you're getting to the bottom of this. Do you know what happened to the other law suite? |

| Donating YT 14K Club Member | It's so sad to hear about the pup and this other lawsuit against this woman. This is a horrible breeder and she needs to be reported to anyone and everyone that will listen. Hope that your story makes it in the news so that more people will hear about her. Keep us updated.

The canine parvovirus can be transmitted by direct contact or indirectly by contact with vomit, diarrhea or any contaminated discharges from an infected dog. It strikes with a quick vengeance, and pet owners often make the comment that their dog was up and playing a few hours prior to the animal becoming extremely ill. Unfortunately, parvo is often fatal. Do not Take your puppy out of your home where it can infect or be infected until it has had the complete series of shots. By keeping it isolated you may save its life. Talk with a reputable Veterinarian about the recommended shots or vaccination for your puppy. If you've recently lost a dog to Parvo, veterinarians recommend that you wait six months to a year before putting a new puppy or non-vaccinated dog in to an infected environment (even if you have disinfected it). To immediately bring an animal into a situation where one has recently died of Parvo is a virtual death sentence for the new puppy. Common sense and regular visits to the veterinarian can save your dog's life. The symptoms of Parvo include... a sudden onset of vomiting, bloody diarrhea, dehydration, lethargy, high temperature and sometimes sudden death. Symptoms are similar in adults, although they can be less acute. Because Parvo attacks swiftly, time is of the essence. If you feel your dog has been exposed to Parvo, or it is showing symptoms, contact your veterinarian or an emergency veterinary hospital immediately. F-Strain Virus There is a recent mutation of the parvo virus which is more virulent. It attacks the lower intestinal tract or large intestine. Dogs contracting this new strain will have accelerated symptoms. Care should be given immediately! Symptoms to watch for: Gelatin-like stool with some blood. Vomiting with bile and foam. Rapid weight loss (within a few hours after becoming ill.) ************************************************ Got this from the above web site. If anyone has any corrections, let me know.
