| First Off leash walk Just took my 16 week Yorkie for her first off leash walk. We were in a designated off leash area, well away from roads, in a park with streams. paths etc. I was so proud of her.She pranced along happily, met 5 big dogs and copied one paddling in the stream! She stayed close, but ahead an d looked confident. What a wonderful girl! Here's to many more! All the more special as we don't like traffic at the moment! Newish Mum. | hello, How nice to find someone else who lets their yorkie off the lead as a lot of people don't like to. Pippa walked off the lead from 11 weeks old, i think the earlier the better We too only do it where there is no traffic, we live right by the new forest so mostly take her there

| Wish I could do that also. Ofcourse to my luck there is a park across from my house but I live in a main street. Naturally! I am sure it would be more fun for my girl if she were of the leash. |

Eddie loves off-leash, too, but what's cool is he has no problem being on leash, either. When it's time to go, he comes right back to me and lets me hook him up. I've never had a dog that would do that.

| She hates it!! She just SITS....and SITS.........and lays down!! LOL!! She did take me for a walk once, all around her favorite sniffin' spots. That was a one off sadly, she hasn't done it again.

| Off lease is so much fun. Our yorkies in the past would do off lease on hiking trails - Raven would "herd" us to make sure we stayed together LOL. He was such a help. Have not tried this with Hope yet, as we have not gone hiking since we got her. Your off lease spot sounds beautiful! |
