| Chloe already has seperation anxiety Chloe made 7 weeks old yesterday. We have been having her for 9 days now. My mom spoiled her even more than me! I work, but my mom doesn't. So, she is usually the one home with her the most. Everytime I come home, she has her in her lap. But, my mom bought a gate and put in over the laundry room doorway. That is where she puts her when she has to cook, clean house, leave the house for errands, etc... We also put her in there at night while we are sleeping. She is only 7 weeks old and very tiny. We don't want her to get into something that she could hurt herself. And the laundry room, we puppy proofed it. Plus, she is not completly housebroken yet, even though she is getting the hang of going on her puppy pads. She will have free run of the house as she gets a little bigger and is completly housebroken. But, she is so spoiled now. That she throws a complete fit everytime we have to put her down in her room. Squeals, cries, bites, scratches, throws a complete tantrum! She has been waking the whole house up at every morning like at 5 a.m.!

| what a little racsal!! my pup cries too, and shesshhh, they can be loud!!! i think the best thing to do is get the crate, otherwise you should ignore the crying or she will learn how to get your attention with it :} |

| I read in one of the polls that 90% of us let our dogs sleep with us. My dog has slept with me since the first night I got him. I used to wrap a washcloth (belly band around him) -- but he has almost never wet at night - and from the beginning has slept 6 to 7 hours. And, of course, he has never cried a peep - because he sleeps with me. I'll have to admit now that he's older (6 months) - he does get off the bed occasionally and sleep someplace else.... He is no problem and has never cried at night. Puppies get lonesome and cry!!!!! I think this is very normal for most little puppies...and even some older dogs. I am positive that my dog would scream his head off if I confined him to another room at night. He wouldn't like that at all! And, then no one would get any sleep. Good luck! Carol Jean |

| We will let her sleep with us once she is housebroken. Her puppy pad is in the laundry room. My mom wants her to go the bathroom in there and not have puppy pads all over the house. Today she has not had one accident! She went to her pad every time today.
