Hello! I'm a pretty new member (and already addicted!!!) But i was just wondering if there were many college students on this forum! If so, where are you from? I attend UCDavis- beautiful weather right now so Oliver and I have been out walking a lot!
Just curious!! (Play date!!!) hehe

There are a few college students here. I am one of them! :) I'm east cost though! :( I actually was looking at Davis for grad school! Right now I am at North Carolina Central University. I'll be outta NC soon enough! :D Welcome to YT! Oh an I love your dogs name!

Im way too addicted for the short time I have been here..I am in my third year at the University of Georgia in Athens..GO DAWGS! :) I will be getting my yorkie puppy in a couple of weeks and for anyone who read my posts on the thread talking about having a puppy in an apartment that doesn't allow it..Im moving! ..for various reasons, but the puppy had a large impact on it. :) Welcome bizzbeth..Im so jealous you are in California..I'm naming my puppy Cali after my vacation this summer :-D

I love the east coast! I grew up in Massachusetts, but moved to California for highschool.
:eek: coming here for gradschool!!! what are you studying? English and design for me-- but it's hard with my little rugrat- haha I'm sure you can relate!!
gutu28! YEAH NEW PUPPY!!! Hehe as soon as I found out my townhouses allowed pets I begged my boyfriend for Oliver. hehe I'm so glad we got him! I think you messaged me about training tips? I actually thought about new puppy mommas/dads, this morning. Make sure you get puppy wet wipes!! Lotsa dirty puppy behinds the first couple of weeks! (Ewww.. I know! haha)

I'm in college. But I'm in boring Kansas! :p I'm attending Butler & I'm going for my Accounting degree. I'm so envious of you being in California! I've never been but I really really want to go! :D

Well I'm on my third college. Graduated in 2000 from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Fl and 2002 From University of North Florida also in Jacksonville and now I am going to University of Florida.... Go Gators.... First 2 I have bachlor degrees from and doing distance learning at UF getting a Certificate in Environmental Management and Policy. Not sure if I want to do grad school getting burned out.

:aimeeyork I am also in college and I am currently in Boise earning my pre-med undergrad and hope to attend UW med school in about 2.5 years. I have a busy schedule along with 6 skin babies and 3 with fur...only one yorkie. As if life wasnt busy enough Bridget is expecting her first litter in the begining of march. WOOHOO, we are so excited to see what she has in store for us then. :aimeeyork

I'm a college student!! East Tennessee State University. What is everyone majoring in? I'm a social work major, spanish minor. Just curious. :)

My husband and I are (semi) recent graduates. He graduated this past May, actually. He studied business and human resources and I majored in communication, advertising and PR. We both have our BA's now. He got a job here in Charleston, SC on the east coast right by the beach and loves it. I'm in between jobs right now but I just got an offer today to be the full-time trainer at PetSmart! I am not sure if I'll be able to accept it but it sure is an exciting possibility!

I miss college. I miss the fun, not the studying. LOL! I miss my friends and my sorority (Gamma Sigma Sigma). I went to Carson-Newman College in east Tennessee and my hubby graduated from East Tennessee State University.

HOw is your little man doing?

EVeryone else: WHEW!! I'm glad I'm not alone in raising my baby and keeping my grades up! I wish we could take them to class though!! hehe I want to show him off to everyone. hahaha. I'm crazy!!

hahah he might look little, but I think he is going to be standard size- He is three and a half months old (totally litter boxed trained-thank goodness) and I think he is about 2.5 or 3 pounds. I haven't had him weighted for awhile. At 8weeks he was 1.6 pounds. My baby! hehe

I am a college student...I have two more semesters at the University of Texas at Arlington!! I am studying managment and economics....I am lucky to live at home and have the help of my parents with my two girls!!!

I am a college student too, I attend classes in Michigan. I am currently taking classes for my Masters in Education. I work right now at a High School. My husband bought me my Bailey for Christmas this year, I got him in November (Early) best thing ever! I am not normally a dog lover, but I really wanted a small loving breed because I love them better than tank dogs. I LOVE HIM, I wouldn't trade him for the world! I would love to stud him, I am going to go searching for information on here about that.

Ya Trent! lol I've heard of it, my friend goes there!

Im in first yeat at York University, trying to transfer to U of Toronto and I'm doing a B.A. double major in Sociology and Religion. Then I'm planning on going to teachers college after,and hopefully moving to California :)

Question, why do people in the states call everything College? Are University and College not different there? lol

Ha!! I'm not a college student anymore but my 4 mo. old yorkie is Oliver too. We live in midtown Sacramento, so pretty close to you guys :) Good luck with your new baby!

I am a college student at a local community college and I am a Pre Vet major. Ive been putting myself through college so I am taking all the com. college classes I can before I transfer to Oregon State University and hopefully go to the Vet School there.

i know that in California College and University differ. I attend a university of california, and then there are colleges... i'm not completly sure of the differences but overall you would say "i attend college" rather than specific "i attend a university" haha or am i just lazy?
Speaking of canada- my aunt, uncle, and four cousins just moved to toranto!! I miss them so much! I hope the weather gets a little warmer for you all!

OoOH Sac is super close! My boyfriend's sister lives there, and goes to Sac State, so we are always in the area!! Maybe we'll bump into eaachother? hehe
goodluck with your little bundle, Oliver. Have you had any problems? The only t hing with my little one is taht he won't stop attacking my feet!!! He's trying to play but OUCHIE!
