Lol I know what you mean, when I talk to my american friends about being a "university student" they always correct me and say "college student"
Anyways, I'm a student too. I transfered from the University of Saskatchewan after 2 years to a smaller college in a smaller city and i'm in my 2nd year taking Civil Engineering Technology. My classmates all think I'm pretty awesome because I have such a cute dog and my house has suddenly become a popular gathering place :D

College student here as well!! Finishing up my 5th degree this summer at PittState in Pittsburg, KS. I LOVE my yorkies. I'm starting my own small hobby business breeding and selling them (if I can turn loose of them!!) My Deuce is sooooooooooo sweeeeeet. He's my little stud dog. And Sadie Ann....she's my guard dog. They both sleep with me every night and are my best friends...well they really took over. My red heeler (i've had for 12 years) is now outside all the time because he doesn't like ANYTHING bothering him but me. I feel bad. But I just HAVE to have my babies!!

Yet another college kid! I'm at ECU (East Carolina University) in Greenville, NC. Any one else feel vaguely awful everytime you have to look at that little face when you leave for class?

YES! My 3month old Kiwi does one of two things:

a) Hides under the bed crying until I come home
b) Sits right next to the door crying until I come home

I have people baby sit her, she hasn't been alone for more than 15 mins. When she was alone for 15mins I came back and she was so excited she peed on the carpet!!

Mine are alone (together) all day while I'm at work. When I get home....look out !! Then if I have to leave again for night class, well...they know the drill and never cry. But as soon as I get home, it's mooch, kiss, run around, mooch, kiss, run around in circles...my gosh...and cuddle. I don't knkow what I'd do without them. I REALLY can't wait until we have babies!!

I am in college as well! I go to The University of Texas Houston Dental Branch, for my BS in Dental Hygiene. I graduate in May!!!! So excited!!

Good to know so many of us are in the same situation!

My little baby makes the best study buddy :p

We're supposed to be getting a huge snow storm tomorrow morning :thumbdown but its nothing new! lol this is why I want to move to California so I can be warm all the time!

I know someone in Houston @ Rice U. who is a YT member, SillyJacki. There is a topic by her about facebook, so you can try and find that. She doesn't have her baby with her this year, but next fall she will. If you're close (Houston's kind of big), you could probably set up a furbaby play date.

I'm a senior at Indiana University and I've been waiting to graduate before I get my babies. I'll probably be snooping around the forums for a while trying to find out as much as possible before I get them. I can't wait.

You will find so much info on here! This place is really helpful and all of the people are so nice! It is probably smart to wait until you graduate to get a yorkie. They do need lots of love and attention, it is so hard to leave for class some mornings.

Hello, I'm not a college student, but my yorkie and I drove right by your campus on Wednesday! We were coming from a visit to some of my families house in Santa Rosa. We live in Pomona (southern Cali). I took the 12 to the 80 back, so that we could go through wine country. Too bad we didn't know, we could have stopped by for a playdate. Merlot could have used a break from the car!! :animal36

I think that I will always be a college student...or it seems like it right now. I got my BS and MS in Physiological Sciences from the University of Arizona and I am currently an Osteopathic Medical Student at Kansas City Univerity of Medicine and Bioscience.... I can't wait to get my little girl to help keep me distracted!

I am a college student. I have taken a few semesters off to work.......hope to go back in a few months. I attend Louisiana Technical in Baton Rouge for Office systems and accounting, preparing for LSU.....GOOOOO TIGERS!!
