| I bought this book with my first yorkie and couldn't read the whole thing. I agree it has too much information and find that YT is a better place for me to go to get the info I need. Good Luck.

| We bought it before we got our baby. It is an excellent resource. It does have a lot of information but that is one of the things I like about it. Prety much touches all the bases.

| VERY good book. I also liked the Complete Guide to Yorkshire Terriers. I think that's the name.

| "Little Dogs: Training Your Pint-Sized Companion" I have just started reading "Little Dogs: Training Your Pint-Sized Companion". Their quotes on the back of book reads as: "As a small dog owner, you have probably come to realize that little dogs have special needs that require training techniques specifically formulated for their small statures and distinctive personalities. "Litte Dogs: Training Your Pint-Sized Companion" offers gentle, positive, and extraordinarily effective solutions to many of the most common challenges facing small dogs and their owners today. "Little Dogs" features: - Innovative training techniques geared specifically toward small dogs. (12" and under or 20 lbs. and under) - Tips on how to clearly communicate with your dog. - Solutions to common behavioral issues. - Thorough coverage of a variety of issues with an emphasis on positive reinforcement. It reads on: Understanding how your small dog thinks is key to establishing an affirmative relationship with him, ================================================== ===== This is a small paperback book consisting of less than 150 pages. I do not know this information for sure as I have just started to read this book. It looks like it may be a good one. This was also recommended by another person a couple weeks ago. This information is for "informational purposes only." I have not read it all. ================================================== ===== I also have waiting to be read: "Don't Shoot the Dog" by Karen Pryor.
