| Crazy noises & attitude problems! Hi all! I'm brand new to this site and I'm just looking around for all the cool stuff! I didn't realize how popular Yorkies were! I just got my baby last July and she is great...like an actual child to me! She is just under 3 pounds and is fully grown! Just a few questions I am wondering about... 1. Do any of your Yorkies make crazy sounds when they get excited or are running to chase a toy that you throw? Lacey sounds almost like a little gremlin is the best way to describe it! 2. Are your Yorkies "bitchy" towards other dogs? Not playing wise, because my family has 2 other dogs and she gets along fine with them. But do they like "sharing" time with others...say if you were holding 2 dogs at the same time? Lacey immediately begins whining and crying if I hold my mom's dog at the same time as her. 3. I kind of went trimming crazy with her hair toinght because her bangs are always in her face. Usually I have it pulled back but I kind of got sick of her looking raggidy so I cut it...now she looks silly. I'm taking her to the groomer's on Monday to get fixed, should I have her cut the rest of her coat too? Or just trim her face better? Thanks everyone!! I'm going to try and post a picture of Lacey on here too! |

| Lacey is beautiful and welcome to YorkieTalk. I think that you did a very good job on the trim I dont see anything wrong with it. And yes my dogs sound like little gremlins when they are playing it is so cute. Chloe my oldest is 7 months old and she gets very jealous when I am holding my other little girl Daisy, so yes that is normal as well!

First of all i just wanted to say WELCOME to YT! Second my gizmo makes funny sounds when he wants our attention. Almost like he is trying to talk to us! It is so cute, just melts my heart! As for the attitude, we just brought home our second yorkie yesterday, and when he realized that she was coming home, instead of just staying at the breeded like she always did before, he decided he didn't like her anymore. So now he acts all snobby toward her. But he is getting better. As for the hair. when gizmo was about 4 or 5 months old, I also went scissor crazy on him, and he looked terrible. I felt so bad. I let it grow back out! But about two weeks ago I took him in and had his hair trimmed by a groomer. I asked them to just trim him up everywhere, and kind of "open up his face" Trim around the eyes, ears, and a little trim everywhere else. I can send you a pic if you want. Just send me a private message. Otherwise good luck! I hope you love yorkie talk as much as we all do! Trust me its addicting.

| Welcome to YT. My yorkies make lil noises sometimes also. but they're sooo cute! They can be jealous. You can leave her body coat long and just trim her bangs.
