| Keeping long hair clean Hi everyone I am growing out my puppy's hair and I was wondering how I will keep the hair on her face clean? it usually gets sticky after she eats. How difficult will it be if it is really long? Any tips would be much appreciated! Thanks, Jillian |

| WELCOME TO YT!!!!! Baby wipes work great, I keep some in my car, when we go to the park I like to wipe Princess's feet.

| Usually after her dinner, i'll clean it with no-rinse shampoo & wipe it again with a wet towel. Once its dry, i'll comb her fur again to make sure it won't matt into a lump. |

As the hair grows - you also have to try to keep it dry (like if they dip it in the water dish) or you'll end up with that damp towel smell | |

| Mojo normally has his hair long too....sometimes, the food, water and treats, get his beard smelling really yucky OR if he has been sick or something. We too use a mild shampoo and water to clean in between. I once used some sort of puppy wipes (like baby wipes), but I didn't really like them....I think I might try normal baby wipes - for those who use them, do they leave a good smell? I think long hair is so pretty on Yorkies....course, I think they look just as cute with short hair too! Do you have pictures?
