No Longer a Member | I have a question I have noticed when I was looking for a male to breed to my little female that some of them had their tongue out constantly. Not all the way out but the tips was always out. Is this hereditary and does anyone know why they do this? I have 3 yorkies and mine dont do this so I wondered about it. |

| I don't know about having the tongue out all the time. I do know that my males get so excited that they pant so much while doing their duty that the tongue rolls and is out while this is going on. You know what I mean as they are breathing so hard. |

| True - sometimes older dogs with missing teeth will have their tongues hanging out a little. Carol Jean |
