| Is Peanut Butter Treats with Molasses and Honey Good For Pup I recently got these dog treats from a Pet's store. They are little bitty pieces and kinda chewy. But they have peanut butter, molasses and honey in them? Is that too much sugar to give a puppy? Does anyone suggest anything healthier?

| I can't say that I've seen or used these treats but that brings me to another question....Is plain peanut butter out of the jar a good treat for yorkies. There are sooo many peanut butter flavored treats and snacks so is the real thing just as good? -RubyC |

| I've given my Maltese treats made w/ those ingredients before without any bad side effects. I also put peanut butter in his Kong all the time. But I always try to buy all natural, no sugar added peanut butter. I've been giving him peanut butter since he was a baby and he's never had any problems.

but i dunno about honey as a treat because you don't wanna overload small dogs with sugar, their glucose levels should stay as even as posibile because they can become ill quite quick.

| I found a good chew toy at petco. Its called a kong. You can put this peanut butter stuff that comes in a cheese wiz type of container in it. You can also put yoqurt in it and freeze it for a frozen treat. My dog loves it!

| I got the smallest that they had. It kinda looks like the top of an ice cream cone. Anyway yea you can either buy the peanut butter stuff they sell at petco or you could put regular yoqurt or mashed fruit and yoqurt and freeze it.

| Peanut butter is a great cure for the hiccups. Just take a spoonful and they immediately go away. So when the pups have gotten the hiccups, I've put a little bit of peanut butter on my finger and they go away. Neither seemed to have any bad side effects, so I'd say peanut butter is ok.

| People never believe me when I say peanut butter cures the hiccups, but it definitely works! Plus, who can resist a good reason to eat a spoonfull of peanut butter! I don't give that much to the dogs though.
