| yes, i do so they can have a supplement of more vitamins and minerals from milk! i use GNC Pets Ultra Mega Premium Milk Replacer for Puppies - GNC PETS 1020873 - GNC and my yorkie loves the taste too!! i give it to her three times a day (every after meal), then water afterwards to wash down the creamy formula in her throat. |

| well, ive read the cheerio thing and my dude did like them, also read that carrots are ok. But im a little leary of ANY people food. Im sure there are some that are ok, but I dont know i wouldnt ask the vet for people safe foods to give. Not saying that any bodys suggestion are bad, dont get me wrong. Its just sometimes we share things we do w "our" dogs personally but might not always be good for any dog. So if in doubt check with a vet. I have given my dogs some bits of people food and I regret hand feeding him anything like that because he now wants any thing u eat> I know we love em and its hard to refuse that face, but to a new dog owner I say dont start the habbit of feeding them off the plate. I will share what my vet said. He told me that yorkies and minni schnauzers are the worst for getting pancreitis issues. He said not to give them cold cuts, hot dogs bacon or any fatty meats etc. It can make them sick and the pancreitis I think can really take the fellas down. |

| Hi all...great info on this thread.....Teddi my 5 month puppy is quite difficult to feed...she would like milk on her kibble and my question was...can i give her a little Lactose-free skimmed milk once per day?....she drinks water as her main fluid...but wont eat the dry food very well....I have her on Orijen puppy dry and a little milk might encourage her to do better.... |

| I have given milk to my previous dogs. Same situations with the cereal bowl. Neither of them had any upset or issues. Emma doesn't like milk so won't go near it. Not even ice cream.
