| How Do They Do It?? I try my best to keep harmful things out of the girls way...but sometimes you dont even realize they are near anything that could hurt them!!! My girls sleep in a pen in the kitchen. It has been in the same place since the day they came home to live with me. The kitchen garbage can has also been in the same place. I am still not sure how they did this....but you know how the plastic bag hangs over the edge of the can a little bit when you put it in the garbage can? Last night my two little beavers chewed the edge off the garbage bag...all the way around.....leaving little pieces of plastic from the bag and pull tie everywhere. I am sure they ingested some of it...and such a mess it made. They seem fine and I will be watching to see if any plastic...exits their system BUT...my question is this....they are 4 lb yorkies.....very short little things...HOW did they reach that? It is not a short garbage can ??? Did Deb stand on Maya's back while she chewed and then when she got tired they switched? I would love to know what they say to each other when they are plotting their next destructive move.....the little adorable devils....Uhm I mean ANGELS

| My cousin's dog kept busting out of her securely (or so they thought!) closed crate, and would be lounging on the couch when they got home. It was such a mystery as to how she was able to bust out, so they set up the video camera when they left one night. Let me tell you, that dog turned into Hercules and BUSTED through the crate. You would probably be amazed with what they do during the day if you left a camera on them! When Olivia gets something in her mind, come hell or highwater, she will do it! I'm not sure if it's a breed trait or just an Olivia trait, but she is extremely hard headed, and becomes obsessed with things. Do you have any cats? She and my cat are partners in crime- if we put something out of Olivia's reach on the table or counters, Theo will jump on the counters and knock whatever it is down for her! Candy... pens... coupons... you name it! He even manages to open the door to the cupboard that has all of their food, treats, clothes, etc in there and leaves treats out for her! Perhaps if there is another animal in the house, you may assume he or she is an innocent by-stander but they may actually be an accomplice! |

| LOL....I dont have a cat....and they were sleeping innocently on their bed when I checked on them this morning...still locked into the pen....but don't you wonder what they say to each other? I laugh when I think about it I love the movie HOMEWARD BOUND...where it is told completly from the standpoint of the animals! I just know that is what my girls do They have conversations about how nuts me and the kids are

| I totally agree! I swear that my cat has lead Olivia to trouble and been like, "Just chew on this- mom and dad won't care, and it's SO fun!" |

| Messy house My three are always getting into something. We always put Duffy & Murphy in a crate or in the utility room with a gate when we leave as Duffy is our mischief maker and Murphy isn't completely housebroken. When we came home 2 nights ago, Duffy was loose with Jasmine in the house and they had chewed up several paper back novels all over the floor and Duffy had my favorite hair clip and had ruined it. It seems that my house is always messy now that I have 3. They are always chewing something up or dragging something out. They had one of my cardigan sweators on the floor last night playing tug of war. I had draped it over the back of the bar stool and they had pulled it off. I don't have a solution. I guess I'll just have to live with it. |

| My little angel has started to munch on the blanket on our bed. She has also been caught red handed (or red pawed?) pulling the case with my laptop in it around the bed. The case & the laptop combined must be like us trying to pull a dining table, yet she still managed to pull it all the way across the room. She either has e-mail to send or she intends to chew the handles off that too! LOL |
