				   | I flew with Simba from CA to Germany just a couple of weeks ago. I would also suggest to get him to go before the flight, have a pee pad in the carrier and maybe have him wear a belly band. Even though Simba was used to the carrier it was a different situation to be on the floor of the air plane with all the noise and vibration. Simba was 8 month at that time so I can imagine that it is even scarrier for a younger pup. What I did was sneak him under the blanket and put my jacket or/second blanket over him to cover his face. He pretty much just doozed during the whole flight and felt secure with me. I didn't flaunt in to the flight attendants and I don't think they knew or saw him. What they don't know...During the flight I would put him back into the bag (making sure none of the attendants were nearby) and take him to the bathroom to give him the opportunity to potty which he never did. I had some nutrical with me and gave him very little water. He did fantastic and I was/am so proud of him. Good luck, Anita |

				   | I have been so lucky with MisaRaye. American Airlines is the best for us. We flew to Mexico and back, as well as oklahoma, texas, Indiana, and New York. Once we were in the air, I was allowed to take Misa out of her carrier and she slept on my lap. The flight attendants even brought her water to drink. I think it was because she is so darned cute! This is totally out of the ordinary, but now I won't fly on any airline except AA! |
