| Olivia is a little Chatty Cathy! She does this "talk" thing where it's not really growling or barking, it's her talking voice. If you make the noise back to her, she'll keep going on and on and on... I love it! |

| OH MY YES!!!!!! Tigger is extremely talkative. If he doesn't get what he wants or if you're on yorkietalk a lot(like myself) he'll sit at my feet and bark then procede to jump into my lap and fall asleep. In the morning when I'm getting ready for work he sits and looks at himself in the mirror and will jump and his reflection and bark. Oh yeah.... and he mumbles. It's kind of like a mix of a growl with small chattering. It's so adorable. Very hard to describe though. And if you do it back to him, he gets louder and continues making the noise.

| I love hearing that everyone else has a backtalker too..haha..my boyfriend didn't believe me when I said she talks back to me. So I showed him. I just ignored her for like 3 minutes, and she came over and started to paw at my lips and arms. I looked at her and said "What, what do you want momma?" and she gave me back a bark, then I said what again and she barked. My b/f had a field day with it. He tried it but she just looked at him like he was crazy. I was like you sound too monotone, you gotta have some excitement in your voice..lol

| Gracie talks back when I say "Tell momma". I love it! I also tell her to go to the door and tell momma who it is, she runs as fast as she can to the door or window and will come back to me and bark and make this funny little noise. It is so cute! But my FAVORITE is when they turn their little heads fom side to side like they are thinking "what in the world is this lady saying!?!" Some times I think she is thinking that her momma is a nut!!!

| Mine do it too Lil Bear is bad about it when we come back from being out for a little bit. She will look at us and just bark and bark like we are being chewed out for leaving her. She will go to my mom to be picked up look, at her in the face and start yelling, we think she cuses us out. She will also move her mouth when we talk to her or when she is trying to tell us something. Moose talks too but she actually talks!! One morning she dropped her red bone on the floor by my bed I told her I was sleepy and not going to get it so she sat on her chair and started growling, I ignored and then she started saying mama, freaked me out since I didn't teach her to say it, and got her bone. She does it whenever she wants something now though I will ignore it sometimes. She will also sit by her water dish and hit it and growl to get more water

| My Sugar Bear gets too demanding. When I'm watching TV she wants my attention so I play peek-a-boo. When my face is covered she doesn't bark, but as soon as I uncover she starts the barking again. I do this over and over again until my laughing goes into a cough. Then I finally get up and she'll show me what she wants - yummy food! |

| Our daughter's yorkie, Chase is a talker, too. When I'm busy with something, like on the computer, sometimes he'll come over and put his feet on my leg and talk. What he does is like others describe here, it's kinda like a soft growl, but it's not a growl. It's like he's trying to really talk and tell me something. My husband & I both get quite a kick out of it. If you talk back to him, he'll get quite animated like he's really carrying on a conversation. That's why I don't think Yorkies are really dogs. They are something else. I've had several breeds over the years, but nothing anything close to a Yorkie. They're the best!!!! |

| Schatzie YES Ransom NO Schatzie (it's gotta be a female thing, LOL) always talks back!! And if you tell her what she doesn't wanna hear she talks even more, ugh!! She's just like a human 2 year old who never wants to give up! Ransom is more quiet. Hardly talks at all. He usually tells me what he wants by his expressions and body language. I guess in a way, he talks back this way, LOL. What is it they say ?!?! ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS?? this is for sure my Ransom.
