| Another Question about food :) I have seen soo much great information about what to feed our yorkies but I have yet another question I have Lilly on Royal Canin, I gradually switched her from science diet ( when I found it its not the best for them) I have noticed she has been very itchy. I have been reading alot about food and am wondering if I should switch yet again? I want to get her on either innova or Chicken soup and am not sure which on is best. Also, is is bad to keep switching like this? Thanks so much for your help |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | My girls both itched alot on Royal Canine so we switched them to Nutro Lamb and Rice and now their coats are growing beautifully....as long as you are switching slowly your little one should be okay!!

| Hmmm.....Tigger's never itched from Royal Canin. Prior to Royal Canin.... He was brought up on IAMS by his breeder(supposedly) with Ceaser's mixed in, then switched over to Nutro Ultra Puppy (didn't think he was really touching it), then Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice Puppy (But I thought that it was drying out his skin and also thought he wasn't eating as much of it as he should have. later found out it may have been due to too much sugar in his treats.) But since being on RC he hasn't had any of those problems. His skin is clearing up nicely, his coat's beautiful, and he eats most of it. Plus we only go through a three pound bag once a month. if that... Out of the two I would go with Innova, or Nutro Natural Choice. Best of luck.
