| ![]() I totally forgot about the cord on my Electrolux vacuum cleaner..fortunately, the cord was cheap to fix compared to the cost of the machine. |

| ![]() In the few months that we've had her, she's discovered the joys of chewing at the carpet, scratching at the couch, and this was my fault, but she chewed up my glasses (needed a new pair anyway :P). I've always been kind of a.r. about the way the house looked... didn't want anyone to mess up the furniture... but now, it's like she can do no wrong. So, I think it's more of a blessing to have her than to care about what she's done to the house (maybe i'll feel differently after i put in new carpet, but i don't think so ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() I just bought the house last years, we been remolding it since we bought it, had a brand new carpet put it , Harley chewed the corners of it, got brand new Cherry funiture you guessed it Harley chewed it, then we got are little girl, they sleep with us, we have a waterbed, and it's Cherry, Haley and Harley chewed the headboard and side end table by the bed, Cherry kitchen table, legs and chairs, this is all brand new funiture i just got a year ago...... now as for our shoes, workboots plus a cell phone, i think i coverd everything for now, i still don't understand why they do this when they have tons of toys, chew treats. i forgot about the pee pads and toilet paper when they can reach it they run like hell with it....... roll it right off roller, ok i have to admit that one is funny, them covered in TP ![]() |

| ![]() My babies love to chew on rugs and my shoes! Once Codie and his sister Katie (who sadly passed away - RIP little princess) destroyed my BEAUTIFUL $750 prada jeweled sandals! I was almost crying when I got home from work and saw my favorite sandals in pieces all over the kitchen! But if really was MY fault because I had shoes chewed up before but I forgot to put them in the closet that morning before I went to work. ![]() But how could I possibly get mad at my pooches? All they have to do is look at me and I melt! ![]() To this day my dogs will still chew on shoes if I'm careless enough to leave them out. Oh yeah, they also LOVE to chew on leather belts!

| ![]() When Gabby was a puppy, I did not crate her during the day while we were at work, just had a child gate to keep her in the kitchen/dining room area. One day, hubby got home before I did and there were strips of linoleum everywhere! She ended up pulling/chewing up a 3 foot area of linoleum underneath the table and some from near the back door. And since it's linoleum, you can't replace a section, you have to replace the whole floor! |

| ![]() I don't recall Gus ever getting ahold of anything of value. But he did pee on my brand new leather jacket that was laying on the sofa. I didn't find out about it till I wore it a week later and thought to myself, dang this leather smells like pee, my other leathers don't smell like this. I took it off and found a big pee spot on it. I guess he showed me what he thought of it.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | ![]() My girls have really only chewed up one major thing of value...I had just bought a pair of new shoes that I LOVED and well I left them out one day and came back to find them all pulled apart and totally destroyed!! At first I was angry but not at them at me for leaving them out...but then I realized that they are just shoes and I could buy some more...I learned a big lesson that day and now I keep my shoes out of their way!!!

| ![]() Oh, I forgot this one.. cause it didn't cost me ,, but my boss! Bailey goes NUTS for things that move across the floor. so when the guys move their air hoses or the hose to the pressure washer ( at work) well, he attacks and bites it.. so he has put holes in 2 air hoses@ $20.00 a piece, and 1 pressure washer hose, that one was $90.00 ![]() The boss thought they were just old,and sprung a leak! ![]() So he is NOT allowed around the hoses anymore! ![]()

Donating YT 10K Club Member | ![]() Add Trace to the carpet destroyers too. This carpet cost me $5,000!!!! Fortunately had some remanent and had that spot repaired. Only spot he ate. I did sprinkle some pepper over the area for awhile and that detered him....think (hope) he's forgotten how fun tearing up carpet is. He's very good otherwise on chewing. Haven't caught him chewing wood or furniture, but then again, I used the deoderant idea BEFORE as a preventative. He loves to carry shoes around, but hasn't destory any. I think he's decided the game is... carry a shoe and momma will chase you. The shoes usually weigh more than he does ![]()
