Villette, I wish I had known about your husband. I just joined in October or November and didn't have any idea. I've always enjoyed your posts so much.
My husband of 44 years has been ill the past year. He has diabetes and he developed congestive heart failure from it and from the damage from a severe heart attack 18 years ago. He is also losing his eye sight. If I had known what you were going through, we could have cried on each other shoulder once in a while when things got bad.
My prayers will be with you and I hope things are looking up at least economically. I know first hand what a drain on the finances any kind of illness can bring, particuarly a major one.
Magnolia, Sorry about your husband's accident. My prayers are with you, also.
It sounds like many of us have more in common than just our babies.

Villette, You are a very valuable Member here on YT. You are admired and appreciated by all. Your kindness has touched us all. Even with your hard times, you are always here for us. Please know you have been and always will be in Our Thoughts & Prayers. We all treasure your friendship. Best of luck to you on your new job. Villette...I think it's all of us on YT that owe you a big Thank You! You've been so sweet and helpful to all of us and it's a joy reading your posts and seeing your pics! I'm so glad a job has come through for you and I'll continue praying for you and your husband! There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you! Best wishes, you sweetie pie!

Villette, I am so happy for you. No one deserves it more. And as for thanking the people on here, the thanks should go back to you tenfold. You are always so helpful (thanks for the avatar!) and upbeat. No matter how many problems you have of your own, you are always thinking of other people, and trying to help them! I don't think I have ever known a more caring and unselfish person in my life.

Go ahead and write that book, you will have sales beyond belilef, and then you won't have to win the lottery to buy a laptop.

I, too, am praying for a miracle for your husband. Who knows, this good news could be just the start, and you will hear that he is getting his transplant!

saying you were waiting for a big job to come through for your husband's flooring

Did I understand the post correctly? You now have a job? if so, it will most likely be really good that you are able to get out and be with others, not to mention the extra income.

LOL !! I WISH it was a job for me and Joan has a great memory ! It is a flooring job.... a really nice one....A job I worked very hard to get and has been 9 months coming

Normally it would be my husband doing the work but that's all changed now....so since he can't be there we have someone who will be supervising it and maybe....just MAYBE.... I GET TO BE A BOSS ! hehehe ....that's really not my style - but I have to be able to step in and do what he can't do... so HOPEFULLY this will go well - or we're in BIG trouble ! lol -
