I think Penny has a baby doll face, but that's just me.

I never usually notice these things either!

Someone has been posting on really old threads...a new member...(baileys mom101) I'm not sure if she's realised yet! I posted on one earlier and then realised it was from 2004! lol

Your baby's face is adorable, that's for sure! The YTCA forbids breeders from using the terms, "baby doll face", "teddy bear face", or even "teacup" to describe their pups. These are marketing terms and unscrupulous breeders use the terms, to make their dogs sound desirable, but the words have no definition except what individual people think the word might mean to them. Personally, I've read so many individual opinions on it, I'm really confused at the difference between baby doll and teddy bear. I do think the Yorkies with a short nuzzle are cute, and your little guy looks like he has a short muzzle. There is some concern that overly short muzzles might cause some breathing problems.

Technically, there should be absolutely nothing wrong with using a term like "babydoll face" to describe a certain yorkie face. The problem though is that very unscrupulous/unethical breeders started to use it - and now it's inappropriate to use when advertising yorkies - it's seen as a negative when evaluating breeders.
