I think you should get her for sure...and I would look into a day care type thing while you are there...that way they are not caged all day and get to interactive and you still have some good quality time with your mom!! We are going to visit family and want to take the girl and have just been looking into putting them in day care during the day, that way we are still with them at night, but we can have some time with the family without the craziness of the girls!! Just a thought...

Couldn't you just buy her but say that you can't pick her up for a week or two? I haven't read everything on this thread so I'm sorry if this wouldn't work. That way you coudl have time with your mom and daughter without her being frustrated and come home to your new little one.

She is already holding her for me for 2 wks & she said that is the longest she could hold her. I think I am going to try the doggie day care thing though because that sounds like the best idea! I really appreciate everyone's comments & suggestions! YorkieTalk is the best!!
