| ![]() Hello, I have had my yorkie ,Bug (male), for 3 years now, he is a rescue and we believe around 7 yrs old. We recently moved in with my boyfriend and his small dog, a toy Aussie. Bug has become very attached to my boyfriend and the two dogs get along well. However In the last few weeks if my boyfriend goes to bed before I do and Bug goes with him, when I or the other little dog try to go to bed Bug growls and shows his teeth, if I try to pick him up he tries to bite and is very aggressive. I don’t know if he is trying to protect my boyfriend or if he is just trying to show dominance but this can’t continue. If we all go to bed at the same time there is no issue, it is only when I try to come in later. Any advice would be helpful. I don’t want to have to crate him but I can’t be bitten, I’m on blood thinners due to a heart attack and I can’t risk being bit. Thank you in advance |

| ![]() I know you might not want to, but crate him. You won't be helping him if you get bitten and hurt with a bleeding disdorder. Plus no one should put up with a growwling or mean dog i dont care if they are little it is BAD. Also they like the crate if you do it RIGHT, and also, it's you or him and you are more importent but still you can do it!!! Last edited by Yorktowny; 11-26-2024 at 06:52 PM. |
