| Dog Treats Recal Feb. 24, 2022 Hey, It's been a while since I've sent out a recall alert, but here we go again. Because you are signed up for our pet food recall alerts, I wanted to pass along this recall announcement. Actually, there are 2 different announcements: 1. First, you should know that a small percentage of Family Dollar locations are recalling all pet food and treats (plus human foods and medicines). The reason? There was a rodent infestation at a distribution center. The brands of pet food being recalled include anything and everything sold in 400+ specific Family Dollar stores — that means national brands. If you bought *anything* recently from a Family Dollar location in AL, AR, LA, MO, MS or TN, you need to see the full recall announcement to see if this news affects you. Get the full details of the Family Dollar recall at the link below: https://www.petful.com/recalled/family-dollar/ 2. The second thing you need to know about is that Massachusetts authorities are warning consumers to dispose of any Dog Gone Dog Treats they might have at home. The treats have also been ordered removed from stores. These dehydrated dog treats were sold in just a handful of retail locations in Essex County, Mass. The treats have been linked to 3 cases of salmonella infections in humans. Get the full details of the Dog Gone Dog Treats cautionary statement at the link below: https://www.petful.com/recalled/dog-gone-dog-treats/ –Dave at Petful
