| Bump over eye Last month while brushing Cody's top knot I felt a slight bump over his right eye, I tried spreading his hair thinking it could be a tick since his head is always buried in the leaves, I give him his last Simparica pill the first of November. I saw nothing, if it was a tick it would be dead from his last flea and tick pill, it would dry out and could be removed, so no need for concern, I would just monitor it from time to time. It was like overnight this tiny bump got bigger, now I was concerned, especially since it is soooo close to his eye. Instantly my mind was running rampant with thoughts of biopsy / surgery so close to his eye. Thankfully I was able to get a vet appointment with-in two days. With these new COVID variants she is back to no one allowed in with their pets. Thank you LORD, it turns out to be an ingrown eyebrow lash. The tech who returned Cody to me said my vet tried to pop it out, since an eyebrow lash hair is thicker than their hair it takes longer for an eyebrow lash to grow long enough to be removed. She said in a couple of weeks that lash should just fall out on its own, if it doesn't bring him in and she will pluck it out. Once that lash is out, the bump will go away. What a weight off my shoulders knowing no biopsy / surgery had to be done.
