| Dry skin? I dont know what im doing wrong. Mia has DRY skin, and DRY hair. Her face is silky, but her body has cotton undercoat. There are skin flakes every where after i brush her. She is 8 months old, I've tried every product i could find but after a day or two she is back to being dry. She goes to the groomer every 3 weeks and when i pick her up I can see specks of dandruff every where. Any suggestions? |

| The first step would be a visit to your vet to rule out parasites or allergies that could be irritating her skin. Once those are ruled out, your vet might recommend some kind of dietary supplement for dry skin, such as extra fatty acids. |

YT 2000 Club Member | Dog The shampoo might be too harsh. I use hylyte shampoo and a hylyte conditioner I get from chewy. It could be the food. Hope this helps. I use Fromm dog food. They eat the turkey and pumpkin pate. Also the senior gold dry food. Mine have good stool and healthy skin. |

| Just a note that yorkies don't have undercoats. What shampoo are you using? It might be time to see what the vet thinks. Is she itchy at all?
