| allergy. I have a natural latex mattress that I got a few months ago. That's wen my Yorkie Bo's problems started. He sleeps in the bed with me. ONLY at night, Bo sleeps for a few hours and then wakes up suddenly shaking his head violently. He starts panting because his nose is totally clogged up. It sounds stuffed up, and it's really noisy when he tries to breathe through his nose. Then he starts licking everything: my hands, my face, the bedsheets. Could he be allergic to the latex? |

| Put a mattress pad over the mattress see if that helps.

| It sounds like it if he hasn’t ever done that before. There are a lot of humans allergic to latex so I’m sure there could be some dogs.

| Or you could just keep him off the bed for a few days. If his symptoms clear up when he’s not exposed to the bed, you can be pretty sure that something about the bed was causing the symptoms. The mattress could well be the culprit. |
