| He’s very cute, but no one can look at a photo of a ten week old puppy and be certain whether he/she is purebred vs a mix. If he’s not AKC registered, you have to rely on what you were told by the breeder ... and, unfortunately, there are a lot of untruthful and unscrupulous breeders in the world. |

| A little cutie, for sure, but from picture only it's hard to say. How much does he weigh at 10 weeks? Six weeks is young to pick up a puppy--and especially so for a Yorkie. As was mentioned, at this point, you're reliant on what you were told by breeder. No matter what, your pup is a little peach! |

| If it’s really important to you to know, there are canine DNA tests available. I’m not sure that they are 100% accurate, but they can probably distinguish between a pure breed and a mixed breed in many cases. However, I hope you are committed to your little guy, no matter the test result. It isn’t his fault if the breeder misled you. |

| Thanks for relpy, I took him from back yard breeder, but my friend bought a puppy a few daya before me and its pure yorkie... It's not important already, because we love him, but its different, the head, the coat is short. Im not aware of DNA test, I'll read about them. |

| He looks like a mix, his coloring is somewhat yorkie but his face / muzzle looks like a mix. If you bought him from a BYB there is a good possibility he can be a mix. A picture is just that, a picture. Your vet can do DNA testing by a blood sample. There is also a DNA kit you can buy, I don't know if that's the same price. He is a little cutie for sure. DNA Wisdom Panel PRICE: $84.99 www.WisdomPanel.com

| He looks like a yorkie to me. The yorkie puppies don't have a long coat. If you do a dna test, have the one done at the vet where blood is drawn as it is more accurate than the one you buy and do yourself.
