| Ear suddenly Flopping down I noticed last night the tip of my baby’s left ear is suddenly flopping down. Both of her ears have always stood straight up. I looked in it and don’t see anything and she isn’t scratching it and doesn’t appear in pain. She was just groomed yesterday so her hair isn’t long either. I don’t think it’s a groomer issue bc it happened a few days ago too. Any ideas what could cause this? |

| Google the condition in Yorkies but I seem to remember that during teething or something some of them can occasionally drop an ear or something but with good breeding of good, thin ear leather, strong ear muscles/ear cartilage, they usually right them again. Read about it in a very old Yorkshire Terrier breeder/owner/shower's book as I recall. Ask your breeder and your vet for any advice on whether or not you should add any nutrition/supplement or whatever to your pup's daily diet. https://www.google.com/search?q=ear+...hrome&ie=UTF-8

| If she is young and teething, as Jeanie said, they sometimes will flop like that. If not young and it stays down, you might want to get her checked out by the vet just in case it is an ear infection.
