| Another cotton coat?! OMG I thought cotton coats were rare! How did I end up with two? We got Taco at 9 months and he was still jet black, I didn’t think much of it at the time but after his first birthday I realized he still wasn’t changing colors and when I groomed him what I thought was puppy fur was feeling more and more cotton-ish. How did this happen?! So if he’s 1.5 years old and his fur still feels soft and cotton like we are probably for sure a cotton coat? Luckily he likes being brushed

| I agree with teasell Taco is just adorable. I had one cotton coat, I had to keep her in a puppy cut, my other two had beautiful hair that I kept in full coat. My adopted boy Cody is a cotton coat, so it's puppy cuts for him. I love both looks

| My parti, Tyrone, has a silken coat that reaches the floor, but little Gus has a thick cotton coat. I am giving him another trim on his perpetual puppy coat today. It grows like a wildfire, and mats as soon as it gets just a little long. As scruffy as he looks, I have to admit that his coat matches his personality...impish and more than a little wild, lol, and I wouldn't have it any other way! BTW, Taco is adorable, and I am glad that he enjoys being brushed.

| He is too cute. I keep mine all short but I swear they each have a different type of coat like neither are the same.
