OMG I thought cotton coats were rare! How did I end up with two? We got Taco at 9 months and he was still jet black, I didn’t think much of it at the time but after his first birthday I realized he still wasn’t changing colors and when I groomed him what I thought was puppy fur was feeling more and more cotton-ish. How did this happen?! So if he’s 1.5 years old and his fur still feels soft and cotton like we are probably for sure a cotton coat?
