| I"m not sure but I think Duchess is has turned me into her full time servant Since Duchess has figured out that I am home 24 hours, she has gotten quite demanding. When she wants a walk, she whines or barks at me or stares at me with those puppy dog eyes. whenever she wants anything now she gets so demanding. oops......gotta go, her royal highness is hungry. |

| We have really seen an uptick in demands here! When we lost Beau at the end of January, we started taking Gus and Ty for daily walks...Beau had gotten too frail, and it was not fair to leave him home alone while we took the young ones. The minute we finish breakfast we are treated to a show of Tyrone standing on his hind legs and spinning n a circle by their harnesses. Although we are both retired, my husband plays golf three mornings a week, and now he is home every day, all day. (As I am typing this, he is on the floor playing tug-of-war with Tyrone and fetch with Gus). They give us brief permission to accomplish tasks (while they sleep on our laps if possible), but when our breaks are over, we can expect barking or having Gus climb up our chest to stare us in the eye. All that being said, we are so grateful for having them in our lives, and wouldn't have it any other way!

| Am tempted to list Gidget as Head of Household. When she barks, I respond. |

| I had no idea Miss Thing was so demanding. She sure does make being at home 24 hours a day a lot more enjoyable. Her antics are hilarious. I try to video them but as soon as I grab the phone, she stops..........every single time. So I'm on a mission to try a get as many funny things recorded as possible........why not, I ain't got nothing else better to do. |

| Me, too. Each of my 3 Yorkies has demanded constant attention but my last, sweet little Tibbe, ever lived to think of things he wanted next. The moment I'd sit back down after doing for him, he'd already be in the big middle of the den asking for something else, often prompting me to work with him. He loved working at puzzle solving and learning new skills and was constantly, whenever he'd run out of other things to ask for, pushing me to work with him, throwing behaviors of performing a skill or trick w/out any prompting to show me what he wanted. He was happier when working than any dog I've ever had, even a working dog. To hear K9 police officer/handlers talk, their working service dogs, during downtime, were always pushing them to work, always up for and begging for more and more interaction, not happy unless busy. Tibbe was like a working dog at heart and then had his regular needs and wants like other spoiled rotten Yorkies. He literally wore me out keeping up with him! Never a dull moment with Tibbe and very little rest time.

YT Addict | What’s the old saying! Dogs have owners .....Cats have staff! This evidently also includes Yorkies! Lol.
